ACT-AI

The ACT-AI Academy project aims to establish a pan-European academy for student- teachers, in-service teachers, and school leaders. Our goal is to equip and upskill educators with the necessary competencies to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies effectively and ethically in educational settings. We will develop a comprehensive AI Teacher Education Framework, a modular training program with micro-courses, and an interactive digital platform to support teachers’ professional development. With a diverse consortium of 17 partners from 8 countries, ACT-AI aims to set a new standard for teacher education in the digital age, ensuring that every teacher can contribute to and benefit from Europe’s digital transformation.
AIRY

The AIRY (Responsible use of AI and Intelligent Choices for youths) project is an 18-month Erasmus+ initiative designed to equip young people aged 16-30 with essential AI literacy. It focuses on fostering the responsible and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence in their personal and professional lives, and supporting youth workers in this area. The project consortium, comprising HUUB MTÜ (Estonia), SOTIROPOULOU ΚΑΙ SIA G.P. (Greece), and INQUIRIUM LTD (Cyprus), will undertake activities such as research into existing resources, conducting focus groups with youth, co-creating an interactive handbook on AI literacy, and developing recommendations for youth workers. AIRY aims to produce tangible outcomes like enhanced AI understanding among young people (especially from underrepresented groups), practical educational resources like the handbook and guidelines, and an increased capacity for youth organizations to promote ethical AI practices. Aligned with Erasmus+ priorities, AIRY supports digital transformation by boosting digital readiness and resilience, fosters inclusion and diversity by targeting disadvantaged youth, and enhances employability by equipping young people with vital AI-driven workforce skills.
ViRaLes

The ViRaLes project leverages Virtual Reality (VR) technology to revolutionize training for professionals in emergency services, such as firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and police. Traditional training methods, including classroom instruction and live drills, often fall short due to their high costs, time requirements, limited realism, and potential safety risks. These limitations make it challenging to replicate real-life emergency scenarios effectively. ViRaLes addresses these challenges by introducing immersive VR-based training experiences that provide a safe, realistic, and interactive environment. This approach enhances skill acquisition, knowledge retention, and overall performance, allowing emergency service employees to better prepare for real-world situations. The project’s main goal is to provide innovative and cutting-edge training opportunities in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of emergency services while prioritizing safety and minimizing risks during training.
