What are the STEAM Exploriums?

Exploriums are innovative extracurricular learning experiences designed for students aged 9–14. They offer a unique opportunity to explore science, music, and sports through university-style learning approaches, right at your school! Each program is designed around a transdisciplinary approach and operates through inquiry-based, play-based, and experiential learning. All sessions are led by experienced trainers from our team.

The Exploriums comprise three distinct programmes, each offering a unique lens through which children can explore and connect different disciplines.

Music 'n' STEAM Explorium

Invites children to build instruments, explore rhythms, decode sound, engage with music technology, and discover the science behind music.

Science ‘n’ STEAM Explorium

Encourages children to investigate how science works, who defines it, and why it matters, while developing skills to identify credible information and understand the evolving nature of scientific knowledge.

Sports ‘n’ STEAM Explorium

Focus on the science of sports, from movement and biomechanics to virtual reality applications and mental health, fostering an understanding of innovation in physical activity.

Each Explorium runs for a trimester, enabling students to participate in all three across the school year, ensuring a rich, varied, and interconnected learning experience. These hands-on experiences are designed to challenge, motivate, and empower students, making learning both meaningful and memorable. This afternoon club is led by experienced trainers.

Music ‘n’ STEAM Explorium

Music holds significant cultural and emotional value. It allows us to ask and explore intriguing questions, such as, “What does sound look like?”. This exploration enhances our understanding of the world through the lens of music.

Music n STEAM Explorium is an innovative educational program designed for kindergarten and school students that integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, and Music. Our program aims to provide a holistic learning experience that cultivates and enhances creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for learning. Through engaging, inquiry-based and hands-on activities, children explore the fascinating intersections of music and STEAM disciplines, discovering how these fields come together to shape the world around them.

At Music n STEAM Explorium, we employ inquiry-based learning, problem-based and play-based learning, to spark curiosity and critical thinking. Our activities include hands-on experimentation, DIY projects, engineering tasks, and creative exploration. These methods engage children actively, encouraging them to ask questions, solve problems, and discover through direct experience.
