On the 24th of September 2026, we successfully organised a #BeActive event in close collaboration with Valencia CF Academy Cyprus. Held in celebration of the European Week of Sport 2026, the event brought together young athletes, football coaches and parents for promote active living, well-being, and health education through football.
During the event, the young participants engaged in interactive sessions and drills directly adapted from the handbook of the 11forHealth Erasmus+ project (https://inquiry-fuse.eu/11-for-health/) a structured 11-week football-based intervention designed to enhance physical fitness, health literacy, and holistic well-being among school-aged children.
The event was held under the national co-ordinator #BeActiveCyprus, encouraging citizens across the nation to “#BeActive your way”!
We extend our sincere appreciation to Valencia CF Academy Cyprus for an outstanding partnership in organising our first joint event, as well as to the Cyprus Sports Organisation and #BeActive Cyprus for making our participation in the European Week of Sport 2026 possible.
