What an inspiring celebration of creativity, science, and the arts! On the 5th of June, we partnered with PASCAL Primary School Lefkosia for the second local festival of the STEAM Innovation project, which is co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme.
Students presented an impressive range of innovative projects, showing how science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics can come together to tackle real-world ideas through creativity, inquiry, and teamwork.
The high quality of the projects made the evaluation process a real challenge. We would like to warmly congratulate all the participating teams for their enthusiasm, originality, and outstanding presentations. A special thank you goes to our judges for generously dedicating their time, expertise, and valuable feedback to the students, Professor Costas Constantinou, professor of Science Education at the University of Cyprus and Iakovos Loukas, music teacher. Their insights made the experience even more meaningful for everyone involved.
We are excited to congratulate the winning team, āVolcanic Eruption: A Physical and Musical Performance of Geological Powerā. They will represent Cyprus at the International STEAM Innovation Festival in Matera, Italy, this September. We wish them every success as they prepare for this exciting international experience!
We are incredibly proud of every student who took part and look forward to seeing even more inspiring ideas in the future. To learn more about the project and its upcoming actions, visit the official website: https://www.steaminnovation.eu/
