On Tuesday, 22 September 2026, INQUIRY FUSE joined partner organisations across Europe for the highly successful joint webinar “Breaking Barriers for Women in ICT & Sport”. The online session brought together educators, researchers, and sports professionals committed to advancing gender equality and empowering women across the fields of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and sports.
The event featured dynamic presentations highlighting the meaningful synergies between three transformative European projects:
- Empower Project
- EQUAL GEMS
- WOMEN KICK
Each project shares a core vision: breaking systemic barriers, advancing digital literacy, promoting inclusion, and creating a more level playing field for girls and women.
As a partner in this initiative, INQUIRY FUSE had the privilege of presenting our project outcomes and methodology. During the session, our team demonstrated how combining expertise in STEAM Education, sports science, and educational technologies can foster inclusive, high-impact learning experiences. Through interactive engagement tools like Wooclap, participants engaged in real-time exchanges regarding contemporary pedagogies, participatory design, and strategies to upskill the future workforce while closing the gender gap in tech and physical activity fields.
