INQUIRY FUSE was happy to co-organise the interactive workshop titled “Technology Solving Real-World Problems” on 16 September 2026, held in close collaboration with the Center for Social Innovation within the framework of the INVESTech COVE project.

The workshop brought together passionate educators, innovators, and technology enthusiasts to explore how emerging digital tools can be leveraged to address complex societal and educational challenges.

A highlight of the event was an engaging keynote presentation by our Director, Olia Tsivitanidou, titled: “Beyond the headset: How Virtual Reality turns real-world challenges into practice.”

During her presentation, Olia demonstrated how immersive environments can transcend mere technology demonstrations to become active learning landscapes. Following the presentation, participants stepped directly into the technology by testing cutting-edge Virtual Reality (VR) applications before collaborating in teams to co-design their very own custom VR solutions. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Center for Social Innovation (CSI) for a fruitful collaboration, and to all attendees whose enthusiasm made this workshop an inspiring success
