As we reflect on the successful completion of the IPR-A Project which officially concluded on the 30th of July, 2025,, we are immensely proud of the resources and relationships built along the way. It has been an incredible journey of collaboration across Cyprus, Greece, and Portugal.

From the beginning, our mission with IPR-A was clear: to provide athletes with the tools to protect their intellectual property and to thoughtfully plan for a successful “dual career” beyond their time in competitive sports. We aimed to empower them to think not just as athletes, but as innovators and professionals.

Together with our partners, we translated this vision into tangible results. Our work focused on building a sustainable framework for education by:

• Developing high-quality, practical educational materials focused on dual career pathways and intellectual property rights (IPR).
• Implementing “Train-the-Trainer” seminars in all three partner countries, equipping local experts to carry this knowledge forward.
• Directly engaging with 150 athletes and sports professionals through interactive seminars, raising awareness and building essential skills for their future.

While the project has officially ended, its impact continues. The core of our work has been distilled into a permanent online knowledge hub, which is now open and freely accessible to everyone. This repository contains all the educational materials, guidance, and tools developed throughout the project.

We believe this resource will serve the sports community for years to come. We extend a massive, heartfelt thank you to every partner, trainer, and participant who dedicated their time and energy to this initiative. It has been a privilege to work alongside you.
