The AIRY project — Responsible Use of AI and Intelligent Choices for Youths — was officially launched during its first transnational meeting, held on 10–11 June 2025 in the picturesque city of Pärnu, Estonia. Hosted by project coordinator HUUB MTÜ, the meeting brought together all partners to establish a shared understanding of the project’s goals and set the stage for the work ahead.
INQUIRIUM was proudly represented by Dr Olia Tsivitanidou, who joined partners from PlanB (Greece) and HUUB (Estonia) in outlining the roadmap for AIRY’s activities. Over two productive days, the consortium focused on refining the project’s objectives, reviewing the timeline of deliverables, and preparing for the launch of the first work packages.
The AIRY project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, is dedicated to strengthening AI literacy and critical thinking among young people aged 16–30. In a digital era increasingly shaped by misinformation, deepfakes, and algorithmic influence, AIRY aims to equip youth and youth workers with the knowledge and tools to navigate and utilise AI ethically, responsibly, and inclusively. Through the development of practical resources, awareness campaigns, and training opportunities, AIRY seeks to support digital citizenship and empower young people to make informed, intelligent choices in the age of artificial intelligence.
We look forward to sharing our progress and engaging with youth communities across Europe as the project unfolds.
