From September 24–26, 2024, the EU-CONEXUS Teaching Academy workshop on Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) took place at Frederick University Cyprus, leaving participants inspired and empowered with innovative teaching strategies.

This workshop introduced participants to the principles of CBL, an approach that immerses students in real-world challenges, fostering collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity in higher education.

The training was led by expert instructors:

• Dr. Olia Tsivitanidou, Director of Inquirium, with extensive experience in international educational projects.
• Mr. Menelaos Sotiriou, President of Science View, a highly regarded science communicator and STEAM educator.

It was a pleasure to be part of this transformative event and to contribute to advancing higher education through innovative teaching practices.
