Article 135: Shaping the future of AI in teacher training: ACT-AI Partners meet in Valletta.

On the 3rd and 4th of March, the University of Malta hosted the second Transnational Partners Meeting (TPM) for the ACT-AI Academy project. INQUIRY FUSE was actively involved in the proceedings, with Project Manager Vasilia Philippou joining the sessions online to contribute our expertise in educational technology and inquiry-based learning.

The meeting was dedicated to refining the project’s core deliverables, ensuring that the intersection of technology and teaching remains practical and inclusive. The partnership focused on several key milestones:

  • Finalising the structure of the ACT-AI modular training programme for both initial and continuous teacher training.
  • Initiating the planning for workshops aimed at developing innovative training materials.
  • Testing the initial design of the ACT-AI platform, with a focus on user experience and the integration of digital badges.

The meeting also served as a hub for knowledge exchange, featuring insights from collaborating projects such as EmpowerAID and AI-Powered.
