Our team participated in the 6th International Conference “Literacies and Contemporary Society: From Skills to Practices” organized by the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute and the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth, in collaboration with the University of Cyprus.
The event took place at the Filoxenia Conference Centre in Nicosia, within the framework of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU.
A major highlight for us was the presentation of three of our key projects by our project managers. These presentations represent a significant milestone for our team, showcasing our commitment to bridging research with educational practice.
Our Presentations:
- For VIBES Project (Erasmus+ Sport): “Reimagining digital literacies in Physical Education: exploring teachers’ perceptions of Virtual Reality integration across Europe”, presented by Stephani Antoniou
- For L-STEAM Project: “Teachers’ perspectives on integrating performing Arts into interdisciplinary learning”, presented by Vasilia Philippou
- For ePhyLi Project: “Supporting the understanding of the Physical Literacy concept through gamified learning in Higher Education”, presented by our director Olia Tsivitanidou
We are thrilled to share our findings on digital literacies, interdisciplinary STEAM learning, and gamified physical education with the international community. This successful participation shows our passion for driving educational change, and we are already looking forward to the next milestone!
