INQUIRIUM attended a fantastic two-day project meeting for the STEAM Innovation project on October 23-24 in Portugal. The meeting was hosted by our partners Nuclio at Técnico Lisboa, and included productive collaborations with all project partners, Science View and MateraHub.
Our Project Manager, Vasilia Philippou, represented INQUIRIUM and led key sessions on WP4: Best practices and policy recommendations. INQUIRIUM is currently developing a new handbook for STEAM trainers, and the methodological approach for this handbook was a central point of discussion during the meeting.
Partners also participated in two co-creation workshops to explore innovative ways to engage students in STEAM. This included a hands-on Micro:Bit workshop with local students and a session sharing INQUIRIUM’s “Harmonic vibrations: exploring STEAM through music” module.
