This past September, INQUIRIUM successfully completed a 5-week interventional Reformer Pilates program for a fantastic group of adults aged 55 and over. This pilot program was implemented within the framework of our Erasmus+ Sport project, IKIGAI55, blending our expertise in sports, health, and technology.
We were thrilled to witness the progress and dedication of the nine participants who completed the program. This initiative was not just about physical movement; it also incorporated key research elements:
- We monitored participants’ activity levels using wearable smartwatches.
- We assessed motivation, technology acceptance, and mental well-being using validated questionnaires (PALMS, UTAUT2, and WHO-5).
This project is a perfect example of our mission to design meaningful experiences that support holistic well-being through research and innovation.
A huge congratulations to the participants for their inspiring energy! We also extend many thanks to The Room Pilates Studio for their fantastic collaboration and for providing the perfect space for our sessions.
