On 20 May 2025, partners of the Running Together project convened in Alexandroupoli, Greece for the second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM), marking another important step forward in the project’s development. The meeting provided an opportunity for partners to review progress, refine deliverables, and coordinate the upcoming series of workshops aimed at promoting active and inclusive lifestyles.

A key focus of the discussions was the detailed planning of the workshop series, which will be implemented across partner countries between September 2025 and March 2026. These workshops are designed to engage communities through running-related activities, while promoting physical activity as a vehicle for social connection, inclusion, and well-being. The team also began preparations for one of the project’s central highlights — the First International Running Event, which will take place on 21 September 2025 in Haskovo, Bulgaria. This event is expected to bring together runners from diverse backgrounds and abilities, reinforcing the project’s commitment to community-building through sport.

The Alexandroupoli meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of all partners to fostering healthier, more connected communities by making sport accessible and meaningful for all. Stay tuned as Running Together continues to move forward — one step at a time.
