We are excited to announce the official launch of CPR unLMTDm, a new Erasmus+ school education project aimed at increasing awareness and training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) through inclusive and student-centred learning approaches. The project officially began on 1 May 2025, with the first successful online partner meeting held on 5 May 2025.
Sudden cardiac arrest remains one of the leading causes of death in Europe, and survival rates are often hindered by a lack of immediate intervention. CPR unLMTDm seeks to tackle this challenge by making CPR training more accessible and engaging for school communities. Central to the project is the empowerment of students to co-create relatable CPR educational materials tailored to their peers and families. Through this participatory process, the project aims to foster a ripple effect of life-saving knowledge across schools and wider communities. The project also aims to support the integration of CPR education into school curricula across Europe, strengthening community preparedness and promoting a culture of care and responsibility.
We are already looking ahead to our next coordination meeting on 20 May 2025, followed by the official in-person kick-off meeting, which will take place in Poland on 16–17 July 2025. Stay tuned for updates as CPR unLMTDm moves forward with its mission to make CPR education inclusive, practical, and impactful for all.
