‘UCLan Cyprus and Inquirium Ltd are organizing an interactive workshop on STEM Sports Education for UCLan Cyprus Sport and Exercise Sciences students on the 8th of December 2022. The STEM Sports approach aims to enhance learners’ STEM skills and competences with sports as real-life applications. The workshop includes hands-on activities for university students, during which they will be given the opportunity to design and pitch their own STEM Sports activities.
STEM Sports is a new approach towards making explicit the connections between STEM and Sports at K12 education. It aims to enhance students’ STEM skills with sports as real-life applications to teach those subjects, while at the same time, it helps students to understand the science, engineering, technology, and mathematics around sports.
The workshop includes hands-on activities for university students, during which they will be given the opportunity to design and pitch their own STEM Sports activities.’
