We hosted an interactive online webinar for the AIRY project on the 6th of August 2026, examining how artificial intelligence impacts modern education, work environments, and daily decision-making.
Titled “AI, Ethics & Digital Citizenship”, the session focused on promoting responsible AI practices and strengthening critical digital literacy among youth workers, educators, and young citizens. Key discussion points included ethical frameworks for artificial intelligence implementation, strategies for spotting AI-generated content, and methods for fostering digital citizenship.
The event featured guest speaker Dr Alexandros Kofteros, EU CodeWeek Ambassador and Co-founder of the Cyprus Computer Museum, who delivered a comprehensive presentation on navigating the practical and ethical challenges posed by emerging technologies. Participants actively engaged in a constructive discussion on the balanced use of digital tools in educational contexts.
