Webinar: “Virtual Reality, Cognition, and Performance: implications for Sport and Physical Education”

What happens when we use Virtual Reality tools for physical education?

At INQUIRY FUSE we are constantly looking for ways to use technology to help people grow, learn, and stay healthy. As part of our VIBES project (https://vibes-sports.eu/)  we are exploring how Virtual Reality (VR) is doing much more than just providing entertainment. It’s actually changing how our brains and bodies work together.

In collaboration with UCLan Cyprus, we are hosting a special webinar titled: “Virtual Reality, Cognition, and Performance: implications for Sport and Physical Education.”, with the special contribution of Dr Marios Avraamides, Professor of Cognitive Psychology, University of Cyprus & CYENS.

Why should you join this webinar?

Virtual Reality is becoming a powerful tool in sports and classrooms. But how exactly does it help? We’ll be joined by Dr Marios Avraamides, who will break down the science behind it. We will be chatting about:

  • How VR helps with focus and attention during high-pressure moments.
  • The ways immersive tech improves spatial awareness.
  • How athletes and students can use these tools to drive real-world results.

Our goal is to help the next generation develop the skills they need for the 21st century. Whether it’s through inquiry-based learning or new sports tech, we want to make sure everyone has the chance to innovate and lead a healthy life. This event is a great chance to see that research in action and see how it impacts our daily lives.
